AcidityShulder
 
  1. Take powder of Tinospora ordifolia (Amrithu) with honey or sugar.
  2. Take powder of Piper Longum (Thippali) and Terminalia Chebula (Kadukka)with sugar candy.
  3. Take rice flake (Malaru) with honey and sugar.
  4. Take Allium Sativum (Veluthulli) and Ghee early in the morning.
  5. Drink paste of Azadirachta Indica (Aryaveppu) leaf with buttermilk.
 
Allergy
 
  1. Take paste of Curcuma Longa (Manjal) and Azadirachta Indica (Veppu) leaves daily for one month.
  2. Take juice of Ocimum Sanctum (Thulasi) with tender coconut water.
  3. Eat powder of Emblica Officinalis (Nellica)with ghee.
  4. Lime juice without sugar or salt.
  5. Coconut juice (milk) for external application.
  6. Bath in Terminalia Bellerica (Thannikka) decoction.
 
Blood Pressure(HTN)
 
  1. Drum stick leaf juice ½ ounce each half an hour before meals daily.
  2. Milk with crushed garlic after dinner.
  3. Ocimum leaves + garlic to be chewed and swallowed
  4. Ocimum leaf juice daily to reduce cholestrol
  5. Consuming the cotyledons of water melon.
 
Burns
 
  1. Banana fruit is crushed and made into paste and applied to the site of the burn.
  2. Apply Honey.
  3. Grind potato and onion and made into paste and applied on the skin
  4. Grind tapioca leaves and applied on the site of the burn
  5. Plantain leaf base is squeezed and juice is taken. The burned area should be dipped in this juice.
  6. Apply a paste of betle leaf withoutr adding water.
  7. Njava leaf is to be applied after grinding to remocve the skin discolouration from burning.
  8. Apply cold water(dhara or dipping)
 
Colic
 
  1. Rosted ‘asafoetide’ is mixing with warm water or buttermilk for internal administration.
  2. Root of pepper and cardomom are mixed and powdered and make a paste with‘ghee’ for internal administration.
 
Common Cold
 
  (CORYZA): An acute infection of short duration. Highly Contagious. causative organism virus.
 
Dandruff
 
  Apply iol on the scalp.Then apply the ‘kalkam’of neem leaves.wash it after one hour. Water is boiled with neemleaves and allows to cool for washing the head
 
Diarrhoea
 
  1. Drink leaf rib of Murraya Koenigii (Kariveppilathandu) ground with butter milk 3-4 times.
  2. Drink dry ginger ( Zingiber Officinale) (Chukku) with butter milk after food.
  3. Drink rice flakes (Malaru) decoction.
  4. Drink milk boiled with Cyperus Rotundus (Muttanga) or juice of Cyperus rotundus with honey.
 
Eczema
 
  1. Turmeric and curry leaves are crushed and prepare decoction.
  2. It is taken 3 times a day.
  3. Neem leaves and twigs are made in to a paste and mix with honey for external application frequently.
 
Epilepsy
 
  1. Add ‘vayambu ‘powder and honey to bhrahmi juice and it is used internally.
  2. Pepper powder is rolled burnt it and allow the smokes to include the patient,the conceousness will regain .
 
Flatulence
 
  1. Drink decoction of Allium Sativum (Veluthulli) and dry ginger.
  2. Drink jeera water ( Cuminum Cyminum) with honey.
  3. Drink dry ginger with honey.
  4. Fried Ferula Asafoetida (Kayam) shall be taken with warm water or buttermilk.
  5. Take ginger juice with salt.
  6. Grind curry leaves (Murraya Koenigii) with sour butter milk
 
Frozen Shulder
 
  1. Garahi is grind and mix with mashathylam for external application.
  2. Butter is added to the juice of dattura leaves.
  3. Add inthuppu and chenjalyam to it for external application.
 
Gout
 
  1. Amruth (T . Cordifolia) is crushed and juice is taken.
  2. It is mixed with boiled milk for internal administration twice daily.
 
Headache
 
  1. Dried Ginger is grind and made into a paste with kadi or tender cocunut water for external application on forehead.
  2. Cardamom, dried ginger and cumin seeds are mixed in equal quanity and powdered and mixed sugar candy for internal administration.
  3. Sandal is rubbed on a rough surface and applied on the forehead as a paste.
  4. Sandal is rubbed on arough surface with water and applied on the forehead. Repeat in each one hour.
 
Hiccups
 
  1. Take dry ginger powder with honey.
  2. Take lemon juice with Piper Longum (Thippali).
  3. Take one teaspoon sugar and slowly take it.
  4. Rock salt (Potassium Chloride) with warm water.
  5. Take flour of Leucas Aspera Spring (Thumba) with buttermilk.
 
Hypercholestimia
 
  1. Honey is mixed with lemon juice and taken early morning empty stomach.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon honey to 1 glass boiled and cooled water to take 2 times a day before meals.
  3. Consume plenty of garlic.
 
Indigestion
 
  1. Drink rout decoction of Indegofera (Neela Amary).
  2. Grind root of Tragia Involucrata (Koduthoova) with salt and take 1-2 times.
  3. Take Zingiber Officinale (Inchi) and Allium Sativum (Veluthully) together.
  4. Drink Sugar Cane juice with powder of Piper Longum (Thippal).Dink bark juice of Moringa Oleifera(Muringa) with Pottassium Chloride (Induppu)
 
Specific remedies for indigestion.
 
  1. Rice :- Powder of Murraya Koenigii(Kariveppila) Dry Zyngiber Officinalae (Chukku) and Pottassium Chloride (Induppu) drink with warm water.
  2. Milk :- Drink sugar with dry Ginger water.
  3. Curd :- Drink juice of old Mango preserved in salt water(Uppumanga).
  4. Coconut :-Eat little raw rice.
  5. Tubers :- Dry ginger , Piper Nigrum,Piper Longum(Chukku,Mulaku,Thippali) boiled in water and drink.
  6. Egg :- Eat radish with Piper Nigrum.
  7. Fish :- Drink butter milk with salt.
  8. Mutton :- Drink warm water with Elettariya Cardomomum.
 
Influansaza
 
  1. .Dried Ginger, dried peper and ocimum leaves are made in to a decoction and inhale the vapour.
  2. Same preparation can be used internally.
  3. Dried ginger, peper, long peper and ocimum leaves are made in to a decoction and talee frequently.
 
Loss of appetite
 
  1. Mix Piper Nigrum (Kurumulaku) and Jeera in ginger juice , drink 3-4 times daily.
  2. Dink buttermilk with fried Ferula Narthex Boiss (Asafoetida (Kayam).
  3. Drink warm water mixed with Elettaria Cardomomum (Elathari).
  4. Take fruit of Myristica Fragrans (Jathikkay) with honey.
  5. Take dry Ginger (Zyngiber Officinalae) with Honey ,3_4 times daily.
  6. Drink leaf juice of Ocimum Sanctum(Thulasi) with salt.
 
Obesity
 
  1. Dink juice of Bacopa Monnieri (Brahmi) with honey.
  2. Drink decoction of Pterocarpus Marsupium (Venga) stem with honey.
  3. Drink honey with plain water in equal quantity early in the morning.
  4. Take powder of Embelia ribs seed (Vizhalari) with honey at bedtime.
  5. Take one-teaspoon gingelly oil(Sesame oil) and 5gm dry ginger(Zingiber Officinale) daily.
  6. Increase intake of Allium Sativum(Veluthulli).
 
Excessive Sweat
 
  1. Rub powder of Terminalia Chebula (Kadukka) seed all over the body before bath.
  2. Bath in the decoction of Ramacham mixed with Sandalwood.
  3. Apply Dolichos Biflorus (Muthira) paste allover the body before bath.
  4. Apply Curcuma Longa (Manjal) paste all over the body . It is for ladies.
 
Piles
 
  1. Put the seed cover of Terminalica Chebula (Kadukka Thondu) in butter milk,keep it one night , next day squeeze the seed cover and drink the buttermilk.
  2. Drink buttermilk with Corriander leaf juice(Corriandrum Sativum).
  3. Eat cooked Raddish (Raphanus Sativus) with Sesamum Indicum (Ellu).
  4. Use tender leaf of Pongamia Pinnata (Ungu) as curry.
  5. Drink juice of Cynodon Dactylon(Karuka) in empty stomach.
  6. Powder of Holarrhena Antidysenterica (Kudakappala) and Terminalica Chebula, Emblica Officinalis , Terminalia Bellerica (Thriphala) with butter milk.
  7. Drink decoction of Mimosa Pudica (Thottavadi).
 
Premature Graying
 
  1. Murraya Koenigii (Kariveppila) ground with buttermilk (Thairu) and apply over hair, leave it 20 minutes, twice in a week.
  2. Lawsonia inermis (Mylanchi) ground in water and dried in shade, mix with gingelly or coconut oil, apply over hair an hour before bath.
